White on White
Since it's a faux pas to wear all white all year round, once the nice weather hits I break out all my white clothing. Or, in this case, when vacation time hit! When packing for our recent trip to Greece I brought all the bright and summery white and blue clothing I owned. Check out some pictures in our Santorini posts.
I find with my super pale skin and our super long winters in Newfoundland, I can only pull off this look with a tan. And because of the contrast of the white against your skin, it certainly accentuates the tan!
I'm not really a wearer of bright colours so I normally gravitate towards black clothing, like Jess does in her Black on Black post, or white. I find the monochromatic look to be easy to put together and makes packing super easy.
we wore: gap stretch white denim, striped top from zara, sweater from aritzia and distressed shorts from levis
When wearing only white I try to mix different fabrics. Like in the first photo, wearing a breezy white off the shoulder top in a light cotton with denim. Or, wearing a straw white hat with a cotton striped white top.
If you didn't want to wear all white, you can get a similar look by going with a light grey. Like I did here with this sweater. And you can always break it up with accessories like the black scarf, black Converse sneakers, or a pair of natural brown leather sandals.
