Spring is slowly starting to appear so, we decided it would be the perfect time to try out our bartending skills on some classic and fresh cocktails to warm our spirits. We love cocktails that are crisp, refreshing, and use lots of fresh ingredients. This is easily achieved by incoroprating lots of berries, fruits, and herbs into each of these bright cocktails.
We also knew we wanted to keep it local! We paired up with Collingwood Spirits and Wines to create our cocktails with Iceberg Vodka. They are the oldest distributors of spirits and wines in Newfoundland dating back as far as the 1930s. This family-run business continues to distribute local, national, and international products.
You don't need a fully stocked bar to throw a great cocktail party - check out the recipes below for some easy and visually impressive cocktails using vodka!
Not your average Vodka Soda - we infused the vodka with sage and tangerine! The process is simple, add tangerine peel and sage leaves in a mason jar, cover with vodka and leave for 2-10 days. This adds a fun and flavorful spin to the classic Vodka Soda. You can use any herb or fruit combination you want!
A vibrant and modern take on the classic 'Vodka Cran'. By using globe ice cubes and rose petals as a topper, we easily created a ton of visual interest your friends won't be able to resist. I mean, how pretty is this?!
The Moscow Mule is a crowd pleaser and always a pretty addition to a cocktail menu thanks to the cute mugs! Add a little more appeal by styling with mint or even mixing in a little flavour like basil or grapefruit!
