One Sweater, Two Ways
If you look through my wardrobe, you're bound to notice that I gravitate toward neutral tones and classic shapes to keep my favourite pieces timeless. Because of the simplicity of my style, I rely heavily on layering and accessorizing to keep my pieces looking fresh and different wear after wear.
One of my closet staples is a boxy grey sweater - I have a few, but my favourite one is a wide neck style with melange flecks from H&M. The sweater stands on its own perfectly for lazy days or casual outings in warmer weather. But for fall, I start to layer!
For a dressy feel, I layer this sweater with a nude draped waterfall front coat, black skinny jeans and patent black flats. The draping and light tone of the jacket creates a softer and more formal feel to the usually relaxed look of the sweater.
Something simple like a boxy grey sweater can be the base of many varying outfits, all you need is an added layer and accessories to achieve the look you're going for.
