Jess and I are usually very busy; we both work full time jobs and then we usually have trips planned or events to attend with the blog. Don't get me wrong, we both love it but sometimes we just like to have a relaxing Sunday!
we're both wearing: the 'chubby stick moisturizing lip colour balm' by clinque in the colour bountiful blush
As you may have noticed by our Charcuterie Picnic post, we are huge fans of picnics. For some chill Sunday fun we picked up our favorite pizzas from Piatto Pizzeria in St.John's and brought them to the park to eat amongst the falling leaves.
I think we've tried every pizza at Piatto and we have yet to find one we didn't like. On this day, we went with the Americana and the Prosciutto e Rucola. The Americana is a classic with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, and hand-sliced pepperoni. The Prosciutto e Rucola has fresh mozzarella, garlic and then topped with prosciutto and arugula once out of the oven. Both are delish.
Of course, we had to dress in cozy fall outfits for the occasion! It was the perfect fall day for a picnic, it was cool but not so cold that you had to wear a jacket.
lauren wore: large knit turtleneck from rw&co, distressed jeans from american eagle, and white sneakers from puma.
Normally, I wouldn't go for jeans that are so distressed but these are super comfortable. They are made from Lycra and they feel like sweatpants. The sweater I bought recently and love the look for fall and winter. I'm sure it will get lots of wear at the cabin this winter.
jessica wore: oversized scarf from zara, high-waisted black jeans from american eagle, black cami from aritzia, and sweater from oak + fort.
Jess bought this scarf last year and has got tons of wear out of it so far. It's the perfect item to throw on with a sweater or a leather jacket to add some warmth; plus it looks great! We both own the high-waisted stretch black jeans that she's wearing here. They are our go to and we keep going back to the same pair again and again. Each of us have bought three pairs now! You can find them here.
